POP-A-LOCK NEWS by Sam Landers, President, Pop-A-Lock Franchise Owners Association “I just wanted you to know that it has been a year since our group met for a Strategic Planning Session with the American Franchisee Association (AFA) in Chicago. On December 1, 2003 we began to sign our settlement agreements with the franchisor. It took us a year and--with the help of the Dady & Garner law firm in Minneapolis--we were able to negotiate a great deal and much, much better contract for our Pop-A-Lock franchise owners. We were able to accomplish this deal without the cost of a lawsuit.” “Meeting with you in Chicago helped to put us on the right track for success in dealing with our franchisor. Thank you again for being there when the Pop-A-Lock franchisees needed you.”
